White Shark Cage Diving

Another very famous activity among tourists is the White Shark Cage Diving. There are special offers (i.e. by the shark zone) on booking a boat trip to the coast of Gansbaai (appr. 2 hours from Cape Town).

Here visitors get the opportunity to watch these fascinating animals by going snorkelling or undertaking several dives inside a cage. A diving license is not required.

The sharks are being fed from the boat. As they intake the food on the surface of the water, it is also an unforgettable experience for all those who rather stay on the ship than diving into the sea.
