Two Oceans Aquarium

The Two Oceans Aquarium is situated right at the V&A Waterfront. It owes its name to its close distance to Cape Agulhas where the Atlantic and Indian Ocean meet. It is considered to be one of the supreme aquariums worldwide as it presents more than 300 different species of fishes in more than 30 basins.

There is the open ocean-pool, a tropical basin as well as also one for penguins and seals. Furthermore a whole ecosystem of a river is portrayed – from the mountain-source to the high seas.

Children get the unique opportunity to stroke different sea animals and affect them directly. Another attraction is the multi-flooring tank with sharks and other fishes. And every day visitors are able to experience them being fed by divers.
